Easington District Angling Society was founded in 1976, originally named Peterlee Angling Club. The name was changed in 1979 to secure funding enabling the purchase of Wellfield Lake, located at Moor Lane in Wingate.
The lake stands within 8 acres of land and enables fishing in over 3.5 acres of water.
Fishing is mixed, with Carp, Brean, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Crucian Carp, Gudgeon & Ide all available at the lake.
We offer 30 pegs, including disabled spots close to our own on-site car parking.
Easington District Angling society is currently home to around 100 senior and 20 junior members, making us the perfect choice if you are considering an intimate, friendly fishing club within the North East of England.
